My name is Rene and I am the owner and artist at Ultimate Glamour. My career started over 10 years ago as an "International Qualified Hairstylist". Using my passion for hair, I traveled the world doing what I love for 4 years. Upon returning to my home country, South Africa, I worked in a salon but felt I needed to expand my creativity.

I decided to study makeup artistry as an added service for my hair clients. I loved what I could create with makeup and now, in a reversal of roles, hair has become an added service to my makeup. I have worked with several international models and furthered my career by completing an "International Mastered" course with Val Garland.

I love giving my clients a confidence boost by providing a full hair and makeup solution; whether it is to give you a glamorous new look or turning you into a character from the world of fantasy or your favorite glamour star, for a special event or just because you need to spoil yourself. I provide a 1-stop solution for all your makeup, hair and fashion requirements. I have the privilege of working with some of South Africa's best fashion, hair, makeup and photographic talent - I, along with my colleagues in the industry, will find a solution that suits your needs in these areas.
